Dodge was drafted by the Canes in 2006 in the 6th round. The Oakville, Ontario native is now the team captain for Clarkson University, the same school that Erik Cole attended! Pat Dwyer…

Dwyer is a forward who was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2002, but the Canes signed him as a free agent in 2006. He played for Western Michigan University for 4 years and then played for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL last year. He also served as team captain for WMU. Last year Dwyer had 16 goals and 29 assists. He's listed at 5'10, 170 LBS, and shoots from the right side. Dwyer is another American born player with conflicting hometowns. One report says that he is from Montana, but the Hurricanes say that he is from Spokane, Washington. For more information, check below.

Flood was obtained when the Canes traded Derrick Walser to Columbus last year in an exchange of defensemen. Originally drafted by Montreal in 2003, the Prince Edward Island native played for the Peterborough Petes for 4 years, the same juniors team the Staals played for. Giliati is an undrafted left winger who does not belong to the Canes yet, but was invited to camp for a look-see. He's played the last 2 years for Lewiston in the QMJHL and scored 45 goals and had 61 assists during that period of time.
