Won't Get Fooled Again
Well, it's been a week and Bret Hedican hasn't announced his retirement yet! I'm glad I took that comment last week by the "fanofhockey" with a grain of salt about Hedican's impending retirement due to health concerns. (Once Bitten Twice Shy) Bret pretty much put an end to that rumor all by himself this morning because he was at the pre-season skate at the RecZone and was reportedly "looking good". Luke wrote about it on Lord Stanley's Blog. This is good news! Hopefully, Hedican can stay healthy and make a solid contribution this year. The Hurrcanes definitely need him.

Someone else emailed me a similar question just last week! This is how Kyle Hanlin responded to the question in an email to another fan.
FSN HD games will likely be a part of the announced 55-game schedule.
TWC in past has made the HD feeds of both Versus and FSN South Hurricanes
games available (typically on channel 291, formerly InHD, now MOJO). I do
not know their plans for this season in that regard, but as soon as I do,
I’ll let it be known, likely via the website.
What are the odds? I’d say pretty good that they will at least duplicate their efforts of the past with another 10 games in HD. We’ll just have to wait and see.
