PrintDavid Tanabe has just be signed by the Canes, this coming from 850 the Buzz and CH.com. The contract is a 2 way deal worth 600K at the NHL level and 100K in the minors. Tanabe will be available immediately following a physical and league approval. One can only wonder if this signing has anything to do with Bret Hedican's sudden "illness".
Good job Jim Rutherford! I think it's worth it to spend the extra money, just in case. Good luck David, nice to have you back.

Please be patient and have faith in this guy. He is a stand up player, a great person, and I think we will not be dis-appointed in him!
