Quickie

Just a quick update before the Capitals game. The Caps won in OT last night, giving new coach Bruce Boudreau a victory in his debut. Needless to say, Washington will still be fired up to impress their new coach. The Canes need to stay focused and keep up the intensity that they mustered up in the 3rd period last night.

Luke is reporting on Lord Stanley's Blog that Mike Commodore fractured a finger last night and is doubtful for tonight's game. Kind of figures, doesn't it? In my opinion, Mike has been one of the more consistent, physical guys on the blueline this year. If there is any good news coming from this, hopefully Dennis Seidenberg will be back. I'm not sure why he has been healthy scratched so much, I thought he was playing well for the Canes when he's had the chance. I would look for John Grahame in the net tonight. This is Carolina's 3rd game in 4 nights and Grahame hasn't played since the debacle in Tampa Bay a couple of weeks ago. He definitely needs some work. There is no local TV tonight, so you'll need to find a friend with Center Ice or a local sports bar. Game time is at 7!

Why has Seidenberg been sitting so much lately? Easy…who would you sit instead? Personally, I’d sit Kaberle since I think he’s been having a rough time lately but I know that could never happen.
