PrintApparently there wasn't much interest in "the wrecking ball", Mark Recchi when he was out on the open market. The Penguins just put him on waivers. It's a shame to see classy vets like him, Dave Andreychuk, and others watch their careers end like this. Maybe some team will take a flyer on him. Could JR's wheels be turning?
Good luck Mark and thanks for the memories, especially in 2006!
