NHL.com Previews The League
I guess even the league office is tired of waiting on Mats Sundin to make a decision, because they've moved on and posted a thorough season preview on NHL.com. On top of previews of each team — Carolina's is pretty straight forward, though the writer predicts "significant playing time" for Frank Kaberle — there are sidebars on different aspects of each team.
The Hurricanes sidebars are on Zach Boychuk and Zac Dalpe, plus a By The Numbers article that outlines some of the best and worst from Carolina's 2007-08 season. Each article also has imbedded video, so you can probably blow your entire lunch hour scouring through all the Canes content.
There's also great content on each conference's top goal scorers, the season opening games in Europe, comeback players to watch for, and the elite sophomores trying to build off their rookie years. Overall, lots to sort through in preparation for the opening of training camp.

How come I cannot get your new home page to show up? When I click HOME your old page appears.

Hmmm … works OK for me. Try clicking the Canes Country graphic, maybe?

The pages are being cached and will refresh a bit differently from computer to computer. I’m turning the cache function off for a bit which should clear everything up.

Well it did not last. I keep getting the old home page no matter the link. I only get this page via the link to the story from Hurricanes Insider. Not sure what to do.

This happens in both Firefox and IE on multiple computers. Perhaps if I find the specific cookie and remove it.

Clearing cookies seemed to have cleared the problem. We’ll see if it holds up. You may want to post this somewhere on your site in case others have this problem.

I am still having problems – on Thursday I was able to get to the new homepage, but yesterday and today I keep getting the old page. I have cleared out all internet history/cookies/files, etc. Using IE. Any other suggestions? The only way I got here was thru the link from my email.

I apologize for your problems. I have turned off the cache system for now and will contact the hosts to get assistance with this.
