Brief Thanks to Canes Country Sponsors

It's something that doesn't get mentioned here very often, but we do have a few sponsors at Canes Country and we greatly appreciate their patronage. Time to give them a bit of a shout-out and an official "thank you".

_____

First up is a brand new sponsor, "Sports Memorabilia.com". These folk do exactly what their name implies, they sell sports memorabilia. They also have NHL jerseys available, autographed and non-autographed. Of course the site has their fair share of Hurricanes items available as well.

_____

Next up is a sponsor who has been with us for almost a year now, Doc's Sports Service. Doc's is a site which provides several services, primarily sports betting information. One nice thing about them is that instead of pushing just one vendor, they compare and provide links to several different betting sites.

Even if you don't bet, it can be fun to check the odds and see who is the favorite before some games. Sometimes you can even pick up NHL news and other related information that might be missed on the mainstream services.

They have a statistics page which has a few stats you might not find on typical sites, like a team's record when scoring first, or when leading or trailing after the first or second periods.

_____

A company that has been advertising with us for almost two years is Vivid Seats. They have hockey tickets, Hurricanes tickets, and tickets for all other sporting events. Can't get a ticket to the sold out AC DC shows? Check this out.

Let's face it, doing business with some ticket brokers can be risky, but the thing I like about these people is that they have a 100% buyer's guarantee. They also have a service which will help you sell tickets to an event that you are unable to attend. Finally, I'm told that they also have theater tickets, for the more sophisticated Canes Country readers out there.

_____

Do you enjoy poker, bingo, and other online games? You might want to check out 888.com.

____

I have learned over the past couple of years that a growing hockey blog can come with it's fair share of expenses, so again I would like to thank all of our sponsors who help pay the bills.

If any other reputable business would be interested in sponsorship information, just send an email to canescountry@gmail.com. The blog's readership continues to grow every month and in October we will surpass 1 million hits for the month, a new Canes Country record and a milestone which far surpasses any expectations I ever had for this place.

Next up will be some hockey news, I promise.
