Canes Country Points - Penguins at Canes

Here is another chance to earn points for free tickets. The game date is fast approaching, so we are going to juice up the contest even more. Some lucky reader could earn a total of 50 points after tonight's game.

Earn 10 points for each correct answer to the following-

  1. Guess the Hurricane who scores first

  2. Guess the Hurricane who is called for the first penalty

  3. Guess the Hurricane who is credited with the most hits

  4. Guess which team will win

  5. Guess the final score

Heading to the pregame skate now and I'll have a game preview up after lunch.

Williams (if he plays) Cullen if not
Joni for hooking
Ruutu
Pens 5-2

But it is a well fought contest, the crowd will be mean and chant “No Mo” and within the first 3 minutes Williams ro Cullen makes a beauty of a goal

and they lived happily ever after…

I hate this time of year

Oops, I forgot about Walker’s injury. If possible, I’d like to change my answer for the first penalty to Staal instead.

(Although, if Walker wants to pull a Sean Avery, it may be possible for him to get the first penalty. :-P )

Go Ruuuuuu!!!!!

Hey, what I’d tell ya?? They’d probably lose, but damned if they ain’t playing better.

Soembody smack Leighton in the head and knock him out, he’d do better just laying ther e for pete’s (well Mo’s, I guess)sake.

Cullen and Williams doing well, Sutter and Joni a little hit and miss. Ruutu is getting and drawing penalties and goals.

I like this a little better than as of late. The scores will come as they get settled and we get the D men back.

I see much better effort, hell Staal is on the radar. Rod’s skating, but still not the guy he was, though his butt was parked dead center on the one goal.

GO ’CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!

leighton sucks !!!!!

by Steve on Dec 4, 2008 10:33 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Nope bubba, Sadly (for me) it was Eaves with the most hits.
At least Ruu came through for me on two of three…
I second most of what P6 had to say. I’ve been on the fence about Joni for a while now, but today he disappointed. Team effort was there. Thankfully. That’s one of the three major problems that seems to have improved. The other two, not so much. The D wasn’t there when needed (so I wouldn’t smack Leighton upside the head too much for this one) and the PP… I’m not even going there.
