"Player" of the week
Since I can't even bring myself to say the name of the other team we are playing this week, you know, the one that starts with a "P" (and yes, I grudge much), I chose the player of the week from the New Jersey Devils. The 25 year old "future captain" racked up a whopping 94 points last season which lead the team and placed him #5 in the league in points, 3rd in goals. Pretty impressive stats that he will likely improve upon this season. I'm not sure what the story is behind this picture, but i'm sure there is a good one!! :)

Very nice choice. And you’re right-I am pleased. Someone once said his face was hand crafted by angels and I’m pretty sure I agree. :) As far as the picture…actually I’m going to keep that to myself.

And, p-Leeze, no apologies needed for skipping over Wednesday’s opponent. I think we determined in September that “they” really don’t have anyone who qualifies to be honored in this feature. Sad but true.
