I think it does. Staal has had some fire this season. He had no reason to come out in that 3rd the other night but he got the first PP goal of the year by himself.
Ultimately this teams poor play definitely hasn’t been on one player thus far.
Sounds like a decently played game thus far. Wonder if we can get some video highlights of this game on NHL On The Fly on NHL network later tonight?

I think Gleason has always done a great job staying out of the box. 68 minutes last year for a guy who drops ‘em from time to time and always plays physical … plus plays against other teams’ top lines.

Actually, one of the knocks on him was he wasn’t that physical despite his size. Played more like Lidstrom than Pronger. Though they said he would stand up for teammates from time to time. But I thought he looked very, very good.

Staal will have a big night against FLa…as frustrated as staal got several times tonight, that will translate into goals on friday, i hope
Cam’s GAA is now at 2.75. Up to #12 in the NHL (he was #29 this morning)

I wish I could have actually WATCHED this game. Again, eff you, Versus.
Not that I don’t appreciate Chuck K’s work. Plus, listening to hockey on the radio takes me back to the old days when I didn’t have cable and I’d listen to Marv Albert call the Rangers on 660 AM.
