Crowd was smallish, but loud and proud
It was a somewhat smaller crowd that Friday, but the crowd was indeed loud and proud from the onset. I think the fans who are coming to the came for the most part understand the team needs them now to be supportive.
Agreed. Attendance listed at 12194. But the crowd was into it and loud when needed. Although, was pretty tense feeling in the bldg for most of the 3rd.
We got into the bldg about 5 minutes before puck drop. Did not see any of the “paper bags” as mentioned earlier, but if they were there I would call that pretty disappointing. Stay classy Carolina.

i was being sarcastic since we seem to have no system whatsoever
we were talking about a fan system though – for example, a couple of games ago, the canes only scored when one of our group was in the bathroom… so we tried frequent bathroom trips another game, but it didn’t work…

Far be it for them to actually put it on the schedule or anything, but this game is actually being shown in HD on Channel 745 (despite it not showing that it is), in addition to Channel 733.

Wow, they have Perkins in Minnesota. We used to have two in Wilmington, but they both closed. It was my favorite place to eat at 3 AM.

Like, breakfasty kind of stuff: pancakes, omelets, etc. They have sandwiches, too, but it’s one of those places where you can get breakfast all day, and they’re open 24 hours. I like pancakes after a long night of drinking, but I hate Waffle House, which is why I liked Perkins.

I’m assuming that my four season ticket holder seats will be counted toward attendance, even though no butts are in them. May be others like us, so may look even lighter than the official count.
No interest for the extra pair from employees/family/friends and elskling has a “lower body injury” (rumored to be foot-related).
She usually plays hurt, but note to JR: today it just wasn’t really worth the hassle.

this is our modus operandus…we come out strong in the 1st and 1/2 the 2nd..try to rack up goals..and then completely deflate in the 2/2 of the 2nd and all of the 3rd…just die out

Sutter is for real. Him, Ruu and Ray have done well through out the stetch. Minus Ruu’s putting Tucker to bed.

The absence of Aaron Ward was noticeable on the ice in a very positive way. I wonder if he has been hurt all year. In any event, Bryan Rodney had an excellent game and it was great that Aaron Ward had a good place to watch the game.
