SLGT invites Canes Country for Project Mayhem

Over at St Louis Game Time, we like to engage in a little mischief from time to time. Here's an opportunity for y'all to join us in an endeavor that coincides directly with your interests as fans of the Carolina Hurricanes.

The overseas arm of ESPN (ESPN America) broadcasts NHL hockey, and they have a poll running to pick the broadcast for 11/27:  CGY at DET or  ATL at CAR. Never missing a chance to spoil things for any Detroit fan, we'd love it if we can swing the vote in favor of the ATL/CAR game. This is also self-interest for you guys, also, as your team will gain exposure to the European market. Additionally, if the game is broadcast on ESPN America, then the non-local Hurricanes fans will be more likely to find a web feed to watch.

The poll is here. You  can apparently vote as often as you like.

Enjoy!

When I first found it

it was 78/22 … and that was over the weekend, so we’ve already made some ground. It’ll take some effort, no doubt. But, like a Chicago election, “Vote early, Vote often!”

Hope springs eternal!

It’s now 62.47-37.53. I’ve been voting “Chicago style” this after noon. So get in there and vote.

Is it just me or does that link just take you to a home page? I’ve scanned the page for 3 minutes straight and can’t find a poll anywhere…..
