Let me introduce our player of the week, Ryan Getzlaf. The 24 year old center and alternate captain was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2003. Last season he broke the team record for assists with 66 and led the team with a staggering 91 points. WOW (take note Timmy, we will need some of those sweet checks like the one you used on Hedman the other night). In this, his 5th NHL season, he has already gotten 3 goals and 22, yes I said 22 assists (he is a playmaker indeed) currently holds the 2nd spot in the league in assists. Let's hope that on Thanksgiving eve our boys don't eat a bunch of Tryptophan laced turkey so they can shut down all 6'4" 221lbs. of Ryan, eh?

Wow I never would have thought Getzlaf would be our player of the week! But I’ll go with it. And yes, there is a slight resemblance to Fergie’s hubby.
On an partially related note, Rick’s back

Oh most definitely. The whipped cream one should always be on. In fact I would even ask that John and Tripp make it part of every single telecast.

No I don’t think it is. The hockey world will be a better (looking) place when he returns to games. LOL
