According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, the Carolina Hurricanes have dealt 2009 first-round pick Philippe Paradis to Toronto for 2006 13th overall pick Jiri Tlusty. Tlusty has 74 games of NHL experience with the LEafs, scoring 10 goals and adding 10 assists. He has been dominant at the AHL level, with 66 points (25-41-66) in 66 game last season with the Marlies, and eight goals and seven assists in 19 games this season. Paradis has eight goals and 11 assists in 26 games with Shawinigan of the QMJHL.
