Around SBN: Roy Nelson Willing to Pay for His Next Opponent's Drug Test

The Carolina Hurricanes officially recalled Bryan Rodney on Thursday night, to fill in on their depleted blueline. This is not a surprising move as the defenseman has been the team's first recall the past several times they needed someone.

He will be in the lineup against Vancouver on Saturday afternoon.

So, is this a good thing or more crap?

The Canucks are assassins and we are meat. Been watching these guys the last couple games…

Ouch, gonna hurt..

Yes—-it is going to hurt. Not only are they sharp shooters, but Luongo is like Miller.
Very hard to get goals past him !! And we all know how easy our goals are to come by
under normal conditions.

But since we needed a defenseman, I am glad it is Rodney.

I’m wondering if they’ll dare to put him up with Gleason. I mean – who’s gonna eat those minutes of Corvos?

They probably should. Gleason is here to stay and I think Rodney is too. Try it out and see how it goes, might save a few thousand line changes next year from Mo…

But for now I think he and Sutter will be great ‘Rat roommates for a couple months (from Corvo’s Est recovery date.)
