Tough schedule coming up...
We can’t give away points to any weak teams from here on out. Luckily New York, Montreal and Buffalo are sliding backwards. I like us and Pittsburgh to get the 7 and 8 seeds.
Still not a crook!
Sutter, Walker
Who is going to go back down or get released once these guys come back to the club? If I’m not mistaken Sutter can’t spend more than two weeks in Albany or he’ll have to go through waivers. Walker is also almost ready to come back. Who then do we send down to make room for those guys? Ryan has been playing so well that he was moved up to the first line and Brindy is centering our 4th line. Where is the room??
Still not a crook!
Sutter never has to go thru waivers until his entry-level deal is up (or he plays 180 games). That pretty much means two more full seasons. They just can’t keep in Albany beyond the cond. stint b/c he’s still junior eligible. They need to bring him back or send him to Red Deer (won’t happen, IMO). He may still be a scratch, or fill in if someone’s hurt.
As for Walker, I imagine Ryan or Conboy will be the victim. Conboy played 59 seconds last night and was on the ice for Buffalo’s goal.

Anyone hear that the Canucks picked up Ossi Vaananen? He’s EXACTLY what we needed. 6’4 215lbs and 85 hits so far this season. Damn. Plus then we’d really be team finland…
