Hurricanes Newsstand — March 18
Overall, a decent night for the Hurricanes' playoff chances. While Pittsburgh won and the Rangers and Montreal had a dreaded three-point game (New York won in the shootout), both Florida and Buffalo lost. On top of that, Martin Brodeur broke Patrick Roy's wins mark last night, and he'll have tonight off when the Devils come to town. So will Colin White, New Jersey's best defensive defenseman.

We all know why Colin White REALLY isn’t playing tonight - he’s scared of Ruutu lowering the boom on him again!
If I’m not mistaken – didn’t he miss the game earlier this season when the Devils played the Canes due to an “injury”? I’d be scared shitless of Ruutu as well after that hit.
