NCAA Hockey Field Announced; Lawson and ND, Dalpe and OSU In The Field
Hurricanes prospects Zac Dalpe and Kyle Lawson will both be going to the NCAA Tournament.
Lawson and Notre Dame earned the second overall seed and No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. They will face Bemidji State Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Dalpe and Ohio State received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I Tournament. They will meet No. 1 overall seed Boston University in the opening round of the Northeast region Saturday 28 at 5:30 p.m.
Also worth noting, Wisconsin did not receive a bid, so the Hurricanes could conceivably begin negotiations with junior defenseman Jamie McBain, who is coming off a monster season that has him among 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award.
