hmmm, take on a fourth line forward (that was not good enough 3 years ago) and get rid of two d men that are not good enough now. seems like it has a positive expectation of 1. that is moving forward atleast.

BUT……as was made very clear against Atlanta we have no leadership on this team. For whatever reason that is(Rod)…. Roberts may be it, but i still dont think JR would make a move for him.

I have to go against you here man….. Roberts is old…. but he still has a ton of fight in him (ask Tim Gleason).

If (and that seems to be a HUGE “IF” even with our win tonight) we should happen to make it into the playoffs we are going to need stronger leadership than we are getting at the moment…. Roberts can be a team leader…. he can rough people up…. he is like if Gleason and LaRose were a grandfather….

I think Roberts would be a good fit….. although I don’t think he’ll end up on our team because our team doesn’t spend money on anyone!
