Nice Win!
Hey ’Canes fans! Looking forward to a really good series against you guys. Staal vs. Staal is at least as cool if not cooler than the Crosby/Ovechkin hype machine that we Pens fans just endured.
I’m glad they gave our teams more rest than the Red Wings. 3 OT games in our series and a OT game 7 in yours, seems only right. Besides, the Wings don’t need any more breaks.
Feel free to come over and put in your thoughts at Pensburgh!

Bostons Coverage Post Game - Fans Crying
They Look Heartbroken
Fans Crying
Canes will be fighting an uphill battle
and not because they aren’t a great team:
My conspiracy theory:
Regular season Pims:
Pit 1114 (ranked 18th)
Car 802 (ranked 30th, fewest in NHL)
Playoff Pims:
Pit 136
Car 171
Canes have only played one more game then Pittsburgh in the Playoffs…hmm…kinda makes you wonder…
Yeah….. Shitsburgh has Cindy Crysby…. you know that anyone who skates an inch away from the little crybaby is going to get called…..

Canes haven’t really gotten the breaks officiating wise all post season, so that is nothing new.
Brodeur > MAF
Thomas > MAF
I feel alright about our chances against the Pens.

Can't NBC carry at least one Canes/Penguins game?
Granted, the last thing I want to see is Pierre McGuire and Mike Milbury covering a game but it would be nice to get some national attention. I know – I should just be thankful Versus won’t be joining games in progress.
Personally, I like the 7:30 start times better. I am a little stunned that NBC isn’t carrying a Pens game, but then again, they got a winter classic rematch for the other series.

you might want to rethink that...
the Pens have been miserable in afternoon games all season long.
