ESPN Radio 105.7 and 1490 NEW BERN live at RBC
We will be doing our local show ( The Drive with Mark Panichelli) from 4-6 at the RBC Center. We will catch the morning skate and have some guest on. If you would like to hear to the show and are out of the our coverage area (which I'm going to assume everyone is,lol. Then feel free to catch us on 1490espn.com or rfenc.com. It is something I am VERY excited about. As a long-time Canes fan, it has got to rank way up there on my list of Canes memories.
p.s. Sorry Bubba for the shameless plug, but I figure some might want to hear it. When we go off it should be right about the time "The Insiders" come on for the pre-game.
Take care everyone and hopefully Ill see you at the game Bubba.

I am originally from the coast but I did just move back down here from Charlotte, and I can tell you that there is a strong following down here. Charlotte on the other hand, not so much. I don’t know why that is the case, but it is. We are trying to “spread the gospel” so to speak down here in ENC. and it is catching on.
I was in the ESPN game chat with a guy from Charlotte… he said the Canes should have moved there, and they would have made more money that way, but since they didnt no one cares.
Did not really make sense to me. Especially since so many of us pull for the Panthers and Bobcats.

I think it’s the superior complex of Charlotte. A lot of people got a bit of a bruised ego because a major league team didn’t move to the biggest (but not best!) city in the state. The Bobcats are definitely making a ton of money there… Expected to lose $35 million over the next two years…
I agree, but I do see success in the Bobcats future. At least on the court. That should lead to off the court success as long is the team is managed decently, and they can keep Jordan away from the casinos.

I had a blast Bubba. It was great to be able to put a face to the name, lol. Like I told you, I’ve been reading your stuff for years now. I’m sure everyone who is a regular respects your analysis and ability to write. It was very nice to see that you are a professional in every way.
It was a great game. The tough part was getting home at 1:30. Seeing Bob Ryan work the locker room was very cool. The neatest thing I think was eating dinner next to Cam Neely. You really do have a nice gig (at least that part of it) and it couldn’t happen to a nicer or more professional guy.
You and Cory are helping to prove some “bloggers” can be viable media personnel, no matter who signs their paycheck (if they where to be so lucky)
