Buffalo concerned about possible franchise in Hamilton

"The way that issue would play out in this case is: they want to go from Arizona to Hamilton, and that would be in the Buffalo Sabres' area," Anzivino said. Have I mentioned that I really dislike the National Post.

They play off the fact that they feel that the Buffalo market is something that is completely fragile. Last time I checked, we were a strong fanbase and it should stay that way no matter if another Canadian team comes in or not. I feel offended reading this article as a Sabres fan.

It doesn’t make Maple Leafs money, but I would imagine that the franchise isn’t hemorrhaging money like the Coyotes. Granted the team may need some revenue sharing but most hockey teams don’t make Maple Leafs money.
