The Carolina GM with an update on things. Early indications are that Dennis Seidenberg will be tough to re-sign.

yea i watched this last night, and it seems that this is JR’s first round of allowing the fans to deal with seidenberg leaving.
make a smooth transition
the question is dennis was a rock this year
who can replace that?

The way it sounds to me

Seids is looking for a healthy raise, and multi-year deal. Would hate to loose him, but think that his game is replaceable. I like Carson or Borer to replace his minutes, though neither player brings both dimensions of Seids’ game. But then again, you got to let the young guys play sometime.
The deal Seids signs this year will likely be the biggest of his career, good luck to him wherever he ends up playing.

JR

As is everything else, money is the name of the game. Go where you can make the most money at. No loyalty anymore. But, then again you can’t expect anyone to work for nothing being the way the economy is now a days. I wish him well where ever he goes. He was a good player for the cane’s last season.

Who are you talkin' about?

Seids?

Remember, kids...don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.
