Love the theme of this shoot – can you link us to the final product when it comes out in FIN?

Loved the photos! I don’t know who looked like they were having the most fun-the Finns or the fans. LTD-was Ruutu’s phone call part of the set up for the shoot? Or was he just calling Jarkko to rub it in?

So Ruu’s shirt says “Lets go get wet”, was he wearing that for LTD or HM?

HM, that was moi, so holler next time. Hard to travel incognito with that lens. Hope I wasn’t being obnoxious. Sometimes I tend to roam around the arena much to the consternation of others who are trying to watch.

On the article, all I know is that they were shooting for a Finnish sports magazine, the magazine staff had to head off in a hurry because they were headed to another city for more interviews (LA maybe). I’ll certainly see what I can find out, they had some photographers out there from the Canes org too so we may see some pop up on Sundheim’s blog. I actually happened upon the event by serendipity; decided on a whim to go out to my car during training camp breaks and lo and behold… never made it back for the second group.

The cell phone was not part of the shoot; somebody called him because you could hear him promising he’d call them back shortly.

As far as the shirt is concerned I’d say that was a gift for all of us. I swear I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.

wow, great shot LTD and looks like fun was had by all. I guess this just goes to show that you never know what you’re going to see in the RBC parking lots!

Found out it was the Finnish version of SI and it will probablly only be published in Finnish, so we might need Markus’s help again.
