FS Carolinas increases HD broadcasts to 30 this season

FS Carolinas has announced today that they will broadcast 30 out of their 65 games televised this season in High Definition.  They will start off with the October 2 home opener against the Philadelphia Flyers.  This is a huge increase over the number of games in HD last season.

Half victory I guess.

Really glad to see that number a lot higher. Not surprised that the vast majority of those games are after basketball season, but then again that is when most people are watching I guess. I would rather see all those big late season games than a bunch in nov-dec.

So – anyone want to start up a baby pool for the Staals’ apparently imminent delivery? Day, time, sex, and weight? And will s/he be eligible to play on the Canadian or US Olympic team in 2034?

If we could all chip in a dollar and get him a baby-size Canes jersey, what number would we choose?
