Where the Streets Have no Name
Remember the old days on the blog when all the article titles used to be song titles? Times change and we learned that it was better for the blog and easier for our readers if we used article related information in the titles. For similar reasons, I have been bouncing around the idea of dropping my nickname of "Bubba" for a bit now, and today I finally took the plunge. So in case you are wondering who this "Bob Harwood" character is, it's just me, "Bubba".
Thank you for your support.

I noticed earlier bubba. Your comments still come through as bubba? Or was that because you made the change after the comments you made on the last article.

Mr Harwood:
I’m still awaiting the photo! Depending on its “appeal” , we will consider a nomination for the hottest blogger. No promises though.
Related note : is anyone else troubled to find that the title image of Puck Daddy’s Wyshinski brings to mind the name Lewinski ? Of course I suppose he couldn’t exactly go with this:

What’s with all of the bloggers coming out of hiding all of the sudden? Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it just seems like everyone feels the need to do it. I don’t get it. I read an article the other day about some lady who had a blog and she decided to show a picture of herself to show her identity and then her employer fired her from her real job stating it created a conflict of interest. But she was a social worker and she had some real racey blogs.
I think that is has more to do with the fact that Blogs are now becoming just as much a part of the “every day news” as the so-called “News” media itself…..
And (for what it’s worth) most blogs are more reliable than most news papers…. I mean… who are you going to trust: Bubba… errrr… Bob Hardwood? Or Goober… errr… Chip Alexander?
I promise to go to sleep now….

I like the move
Everyone here knows the fact that you are a professional. You take this thing very seriously and hold yourself to a high standard. That much is obvious to anyone who has ever dropped by. It is time for (good) Bloggers to be taken seriously, there are a few of you that just scratch and claw for your share by sheer quality of work. People have no choice but to take notice. Now when they take notice, they can give credit where it is due.
at the moment (11:30)

they’re doing the face off circles. Too cool.

I forgot about the song title headings. It has been awhile hasn’t it? I’m glad I’ve stuck around long enough to see the evolution and take part along the way. It makes me feel like I’m part of something. I think the move was a good thing in retrospect. It took a little getting used to, and I still miss East, but overall I think it was a great move. Thank you for your years of service. And don’t forget the T-shirts for the carnival so I can advertise. Ever think about getting a banner made to string up between the cars at our tailgates???

Ant wagers as to what the center ice logo is going to be this year? Alternate jersey, traditiional symbol, or something new.
I say traditional.
we’ll know in the next day or so….

ok, Bob
I knew that little tidbit anyway, so the name change I can handle, but promise you’ll still throw in some music references now and then for those of us who loved it.
