A little background on that photo-it was taken after warm-ups the night they clinched a playoff spot and he assisted on the GWG in OT. That night was so worth the ticket and gas money and the 10 hour round trip. :)

Here’s a link to 7 minutes of listening to Timmy after the golf outing yesterday. How does he get an accent like that? He was detailed in his commnets and way more fun to listen to than A Ward chatting up the press (not hard) and Staal (sheez – how deep is his repertory of sports cliches? yawn).

Not as fun as watching LTS’ post of Ruutu speak Finnish. Perhaps if there was video…

Yknow, maybe we could have taken a different approach to this topic. Next year, let’s do a 30-in-30 type thing, highlighting the hottest players from each team in the League. We could then develop criteria to determine which teams won their conference etc. I think it’s a foregone conclusion that the Canes would make the finals. Not sure who would win in the West….Any thoughts?

Tues 3:15pm: Tim Gleason swears he hasn’t lost any weight but the defenseman looks leaner and in great shape.

I was imagining he was talking with the guys in the locker room when he made this observations.

Y’know, maybe when Harwood or Cory is assembling a pre-game analysis for the games through out the season, one of us can analyze which players from the opposition have strongest hottie quotient (which I’ve determined is the closest English translation we’re going to get of that Finnish expression: woman pauloihinsa ; ie woman pauloihinsa = hottie quotient, or hq). Think how much fun that would be to research.

It might be just one bullet point of the analysis, but likely to be appreciated by the GF’s here.

afterward we can post the best photos demonstrating our hq evaluations. Kind of a GF’s “3 stars”.
