I figured before I went out of town (taking my 11 yr old to go see Taylor Swift) I would get started on centers, y’all make sure I have plenty to look at when I get back!!!
Oh yeah, the Staal pic, I had to , My daughter ’s fav! LOL! Have a great weekend ladies (and anyone else brave enough to venture over…)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Vinny was the first that came to mind when considering my nominations for hottie centers. I think Staal’s best years are ahead of him – he’s going to mellow like fine wine, peaking after 30. Vinny’s ripe right now.

However, this photo is a bit of a turn-off. I just put it in here in case some guys came over and wanted to see we were maintaining a policy of equal opportunity eye candy.

Doing a search over at Hockey for the Ladies which has a hottie of the week archive (can’t make this stuff up!), here’s how they rated Eric Staal:

What isn’t hot about Eric Staal??!!! He’s 6’4 and weighs 205 pounds, so he’s one of those big, solid hockey players!! He’s the alternate captain of the Carolina Hurricanes AND he’s married – August 3, 2007 to wife Tonya (which I think is totally sexy — it’s the commitment thing, I think!)!! Speaking of which, I’m sure you all remember that he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after his bachelor party in July 2007 (along with brother Jordan) — BAD BOYS!!! He even looks hot in his mug shot!!

Funny story: I work with a woman who did an event of some sort with Roddy last year. She said he was kind of like Mick Jagger: “So ugly, he’s gorgeous.”

No sure I’d go that far – either ugly or gorgeous – (I’ve seen him more close up in street clothes at youth games at the RZ) – he has a presence when he’s trying to blend in that you can’t help but notice. Nice to look at, even if his nose takes 3 turns.
