Special Thank You and Happy Birthday Wish

I just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you to all of the Veterans who have sacrificed so much of themselves so we can live as a free country. As we get up and go to work every day, and go about our daily routines, it's easy to forget what made all of it possible. If you are a Veteran, or family member of a Veteran, of any of the five branches of our armed forces, active duty or reserve, I offer my heartfelt thanks for your service and sacrifice. My family has had numerous Vets going back through my Grandfather's generation. Since World War II we have five Soldiers (one currently serving, and an Afghanistan Vet), three Airmen (one currently serving, awaiting deployment to the Middle East), and four Marines. I am extremely proud of my family's service to our Country.

I would also like to wish the United States Marine Corps a Happy Birthday. Here's to 235 years of growing into one of the finest fighting forces the world has ever known.

i was at a community program

that honored the veterans living,serving and those who paid the ultimate price…it made me proud trhat in my 62 years of living…that there were and are people who are not afraid to go where many run the otherway…my family which lives in 2 different major cities and overseas all have and do support the USo and several vet programs …and sadly at times that too doesn’t seem to be enough…but Thank You vets…Thank you
