Hurricanes Time Capsule: 2008
We're going to look ahead into the future. All the way to the year... 2008.
Cyn4Canes and I finally jumped into the modern era and got an HDTV in the living room. However, we do not yet have an HD DVR because we have all this awesome stuff saved from a few years ago.
I spent the weekend going through and archiving everything we've saved, and it's really a lot of fun going back into the "time capsule" and seeing a lot of old favorites, as well as seeing just how much things have changed.
There are so many good moments in these that they're all worth watching, but the highlights are the Ruutu interviews ("Look at my face!") and Patty Eaves going shopping. Also, it was interesting to hear Kevyn Adams' comments on the feel of the locker room in light of the Blackhawks' future cup win.
My only regret is that Whitney was injured during this stretch of saved games, so we don't see much of him other than in the background of an interview or two.
Anyways, hope you enjoy this, I know I did.

Thanks – I’ve enjoyed a bunch of these. I liked the Tom Barrasso one too and the way he describes his work with Cam Ward.

I’ve been following a majority of what you released on twitter as they became available. These are really a treasure. Game highlights are archived but I think most of the interviews might have been forgotten if you hadn’t saved them.
Thank you SO MUCH.
