Mike Sundheim just tweeted that the 2 Finns, Rissanen and Kivisto are in the remaining 8 dmen for Team Finland. One of the 8 will be cut to get the final count to 7.

Brian Dumoulin

A name I expect to see on fan’s jerseys in a couple of years: Dumoulin

Here we are now...entertain us.

I think Justin Faulk might turn out to be even better… He is getting comparisons to Brian Rafalski and from what I have seen he deserves it. Ridiculous shot and great PP QB.

Gotta have a big guy too. Dumoulin is the best hope.

Awesome! As Bob McKenzie put it yesterday – the Caniacs are going wild over this. :)

I vote for playing the whole season in Helsinki!

Dumoulin and Faulk can’t get here soon enough.

Both Dumoulin and Faulk have the potential to be fast track defensemen and to be on the Jamie McBain time table. I think they are going to be exciting players for the Hurricanes. Dumoulin is the style of rugged, big-bodied defensemen the Hurricanes desperately need to add to the team mix.
