Thought I'd pass along the 10 New Year's Resolutions I'd like the Hurricanes to make for the new year.

10. Stand-up opposing team's forwards at our blueline

9. Move your feet on the power play to free-up shooting lanes

8. Shoot the puck on the power play

7. Stop having coaches say, "I liked our game" after losses -- show some anger to at least make losses seem unacceptable

6. More minutes for Boychuk

5. Someone other than Ruutu start going to the net to cause traffic

4. Play Pete Dawg a bit more in case Cammie gets hurt (and to keep Cammie from getting hurt)

3. Play the 4th line a bit more

2. Get a decent scoring winger for Staal

1. Get back to more consistently showing the grit and determination on the ice the Carolina Hurricanes are known for, especially on home ice
