Local leaders released more information regarding the NHL All Star weekend this morning in downtown Raleigh.
Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker, Wake County Commissioners Chairman Paul Coble, and NHL Senior Vice President of Events, Don Renzulli each said a few words during the press conference.
A big part of the weekend? A series of free concerts provided by local and international acts which will be headlined by 3 Doors Down on January 28, 2011. The city will also be hosting a street party and festival.
The NHL Fan Fair at the Convention Center will be ongoing as well. We will have more about this a bit later.
