Here's the initial draft of an outline of steps that could be taken at the grassroots level to obtain five thousand more season ticket holders for the Hurricanes. I would greatly appreciate any ideas people have in this regard. As I look at the young, talented players at Carolina and at Albany/Charlotte, it seems insane to be in a position to be unable to afford them due to a lack of fan support for the team. Also, from my standpoint, I much prefer watching the Hurricanes lay their opponents to waste rather than watching them struggle to make the playoffs. The 2005-2006 Stanley Cup Run was magic. I really want to experience that again with the Hurricanes -- and the sooner the better.
