Hey guys (and gals), its a bad game. We were probably due one with this streak we’ve been on. Just think, for as bad as this season has been, it could be worse. We could have to pay millions for season tickets (like the Twigs) and not even experience the playoffs in a decade. Or we could just never make the playoffs and always trade away our players like Florida. Or we could have only made the playoffs once and didn’t even win a game like Atlanta. It could be worse.

Okay, regarding tomorrow night’s game… Apparently the TV slot was originally reserved for NBC but it got bumped for Detroit. There’s a chance the jumbotron feed could be broadcast. But I don’t think either Fox Sports affiliate is going to be there.

Hurricanes continue to lose when they have to play against larger forwards like Booth. I thought they played fine except the power play was wretched.
They completely shut us down on that 5-on-3 sequence.

Bummer !!!!
The Canes:
1. Came out slow & Flat
2. While they did improve on the fore checking AFTER the first goal by Florida,they took too much time getting the puck in the other teams zone.
3. Theey didn’y keep Fl;orida out far enough away from Peters so the goals that were scored close in wouldn’t have.
4. what shots on goal were slow and not enough follow up meaning when Cole had a break away there was NO support. that happened alot.
5. Florida was all over the canes like a cheap & wet suit…and last but not least…the rats won…4-2 over the Admirals…and they looked faster,crisper and did more hitting and fore checking than the canes did…but that’s just what i saw…maybe I’m wrong…but the Game was very winable…maybe after a good nights rest the canes can go and thrash the Thrashers tomorrow..
Relax !! Even Micro Wave Popcorn takes time !! Go Canes !!
