Meet our "Player of the week" Vinny Lecavalier

The 6'4" 223lb center will turn the BIG 30 on April 21st.

Vinny was drafted in 1998 by TBL

He was the first TBL player to put up a 50 goal season

Signed an 11 year contract extension with TBL in July 2008 reportedly worth $85 Million

Was named team Captain September 2008

His favorite TV show is 24

Favorite bands are U2 & Metallica

Favorite NHL player is Stevie Y

He played Montreal Canadiens center Jean Beliveau in the movie The Rocket: The Maurice Richards Story. (Beliveau was his grandfathers idol and the reason he wears the #4)

In 2007 he pledged $3 Million for the construction of the Vinny Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Stats for this season: 78GP, 23G, 44A. He currently stands at 67 points which is how he ended the season last year.
