Vinny was drafted in 1998 by TBL He was the first TBL player to put up a 50 goal season Signed an 11 year contract extension with TBL in July 2008 reportedly worth $85 Million Was named team Captain September 2008 His favorite TV show is 24 Favorite bands are U2 & Metallica Favorite NHL player is Stevie Y He played Montreal Canadiens center Jean Beliveau in the movie The Rocket: The Maurice Richards Story. (Beliveau was his grandfathers idol and the reason he wears the #4) In 2007 he pledged $3 Million for the construction of the Vinny Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
