Two down, two to go?
As expected, the Carolina Hurricanes signed newly acquired prospect, Jared Staal, to a three year contract earlier today.
The two sides hammered out an agreement which will pay the youngster $500,000 at the NHL level in 2010-11 and $525,000 in 2011-12 as well as in 2012-13. He will be paid $50,000 per year at the AHL level.
Staal received a signing bonus of $150,000.
Look for the newly signed winger to attend rookie conditioning camp this July.
