This just in that Philippe Paradis has been traded to the Chicago Blackhawks as part of the bigger package that allowed the Maple Leafs to acquire Kris Versteeg. What sort of message does this present about GM's perspective on Paradis? Is he a strongly desirable player that teams want? Or is he a player that is sort of a throw in to the other parts included in the deal?

Officially the trade was Kris Versteeg and Bill Sweatt going to the Maple Leafs in return for Viktor Stalberg, Philippe Paradis, and Chris DiDomenico.

Really a whirlwind of events for Paradis before his professional career has even begun.
