This is it............

 Yeah, we won the Cup.  The uninspired hockey that has followed was predictable.  This team and market went from the place to play.............to the place to play around.  JR felt he needed to reward some guys.  They got soft.  It couldn't have been more obvious.  As soon as the kids were brought up, bam they out played most of the Vets.  As a season ticket holder, I could not be happier that there has been almost complete turnover. 

A whole season of hungry youngsters who may lose(a lot) is much better than a bunch of spoiled millionaires sauntering through another season.  BORING!!!!!

I personally think we have the makings of a very fast, very exciting, high energy group.  This could be a very interesting season.  I would not be surprised to see this team get to the playoffs and do some serious damage.

To me, this will boil down to one thing.  Coaching.  If Maurice and company really work the young guys at a pace that puts them ahead of most teams, they will win early and often.  If the coaching staff is ok with going home early and the minimum of prepartation, they will lose early and often. 

How a guy can coach for that long and still be the wild card is really strange.  Here we sit again, wondering if the coach is good enough to get this team to the playoffs.  Once in, the youth can carry us a long way....its getting there.
