Manny Legace Gets Try Out on the Island

The New York Islanders have invited Manny Legace to camp this week for a try out. They have also invited Dean McAmmond and Anders Eriksson.

Legace did a nice job for the Canes last season and we wish him the best of luck.

Yay! Glad to see the little hobbit getting a shot. He deserves it. The Islanders have to feel good knowing that when DiPi gets hurt, they’ll have Handy Manny to come to the rescue.

Hooray for the Hobbitt! Best wishes to Manny! And if it doesn’t work and no other team signs him, I say the Hurricane’s front office offer him a job doing the play-by-play with Forslund.
