The NHL announced the players who will be participating the 2011 All Star Game in Raleigh on Jan. 30, and Hurricanes captain Eric Staal and goalie Cam Ward both earned spots, while Jeff Skinner was one of 12 rookies chosen to compete in the Jan. 29 NHL SuperSkills competition.
It will be Staal's fifth All Star appearance — fourth as an All Star, plus one as part of the YoungStars game — while it will be Ward's first. Staal was MVP of the 2008 All Star Game in Atlanta. Here is the rest of the roster for All Star Weekend.
