All Star Game: Open Game Thread
For those of you who couldn't make it to the arena today, the open game thread finally makes a timely return. Hopefully, I will be able to chirp in with comments from the aux press row.
While the game is certainly not a serious affair, there is still pride at stake. When Ovechkin was asked last night if he had any antics in store for the game tomorrow he replied, "no, no, that's a game."
Most were predicting a Team Lidstrom victory after the draft on Friday night, but perhaps Team Staal will keep up their momentum from the win last night? One thing for sure, they will have the home ice advantage, and that is an advantage not to be underestimated.
The crowd was a factor during the skills competition and could very well help the cause again today.

I hate having to work today. I hope that it is a great game and a fun time for everyone.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting"..........holy cow.......what a ride!"
I forgot to DVR it
thinking that I could bypass the FW
The changed it and I don’t have the time to get around it

Cam needs to stop talking to the announcers and tend the goal hahaha. It went from 4-0 Team Staal, to 4-4.

I’m not big on the “halftime” or intermission shows, but I like Three Doors Down

I would have thought Three Doors Down
would have been from the “Great White North” but they’re from Escatawpa, Mississippi
I thought the NHL had a rule about using non-Canadian bands or somethin’ like that

hehe
sounds like a winner
As for “miking them up during a real game” I don’t think they want to even have cameras on the players for fear of half way decent lip readers.
I think they say “Golly Geez Willickers”, “Fudge” and “Morter Forcker” a lot and it’s easy to see when they zoom in
