Ever wondered how the Canes are fairing this year against opponents with a better record?

Well I have been.  And I couldn't find anywhere that had the info. So I decided I would create something to tell me.  Using excel I created a spreadsheet that could take in the TSN standings, compare that to the hurricanes.com schedule data and then tell me how the Canes fair against opponents with better records and opponents with worse records.  I've stored it on google documents and everyone can view it here.  Right now it's only looking at wins and losses and I'm counting OTL's as losses.  As I get the chance to update this more I'll look at that more in depth.  Some interesting stats:

The team is 12-21 against opponents with a better record for a win percentage of 36%.

The team is 13-5 against opponents with a worse record for a win percentage of 72%.

As I get time I'll update this to project a final point total based on these records and see where the team would end up if the trends continue.
