As hard as it remains, I've come to grips with the fact we will not be playing this postseason. To be honest coming into the season I knew it was going to be a battle to get into the playoffs with the roster we had. However, I think we did an amazing job, had some pleasantly surprising performances and strong glimpses of our future. That being said we need to continue to build for the future a la the draft.

Personally I think we need to add some size to our wings, which has been the case for years. The players that really intrigue me are: Joel Armia, Matt Puempel, Tyler Biggs, Ryan Strome. Obviously I love Gabriel Landeskog, but know that it would be nearly impossible or foolish to attempt to trade into a position to get him.

Obviously we have a slew of young seemingly promising defenseman that are making huge strides in their respective leagues, but I feel like we need to add a more physical, defensively focused defeseman like Duncan Siemens, Jamieson Oleksiak, Brodan from Sweden, etc.

What are your thoughts? Who would you want and who do you think will be available at #12?
