So, I read everyone's recaps of the exit interviews and had a nice warm fuzzy feeling about everyone except Joni. However, in order to spread the time out, I decided to slowly watch them over time. I just finished Erik Cole's last night and frankly I'm a little concerned. To me, it sounded like he's gone. When you listened to other pending free agents, they moreso volunteered that "I love it here/I want to stay/etc."

Now, maybe Erik Cole is just smarter about business than the others, but to me he sounded offended he wasn't given an "A" and not committed at all to stay here. They literally had to pull it out of him that he liked being on the team.

I think I had just always assumed he was going to re-sign, but now I'm concerned. Does any one else agree? If not, please talk me off the ledge b/c I think he's necessary for us.
