According to a report on TSN, the Carolina Hurricanes have signed last year's fourth round draft pick, Justin Shugg, to an entry level contract.  CapGeek.com is reporting his NHL cap hit to be $616,667 per year, over three years.  We will update this news with more details as they become available.

Shugg has had a tremendous junior career and played for the Memorial Cup the past three seasons, winning it twice with Windsor and losing this past season in the final game while playing for Mississauga. He had a career high 41 goals and 87 points in 66 games last season.  In the last three years, the forward has scored 97 goals and 199 points in 201 games.
