New too Canes country....I'm Canadian...EH!!!
Hi everyone. I'm a diehard Canes fan from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada (yes, Jay Harrison's Hometown. lol) probably since around the 2002 Playoff run. Altough I've only been able too watch highlights mainly up until last season when I finnaly bought center ice. Been reading this blog for probably a year now(Love it) just never got around too joining. Sorry for the lte post I was up cramming for exams (procrastination gotta love it -___-) and decided too check for anything new before I turned in for the night.
Also being from Oshawa I went too alot of Gens games and got too see alot of Jenner, Lessio, Jensen and Suellentrop. I wanna let you know that I don't think the Canes could go wrong with any of them Jensen's Great as is Lessio but I think Boone (Jenner) would be perfect for the Canes. He's a Fairly Big bodied center (listed at 6'2 196) who can really get under the opponents skin, strong in the circle (Sorry couldn't find his exact stats) has some offensive upside (66 points in 63 games) and he's been a fan favorite ever since he first threw on a Gens jersey and I'm sure you would love him in Raleigh, and Suellentrop is a 6'2 DFD who could mature into a nice 4th or 5th D-man down the line. Thanks (:

Welcome......eh !!!!
Thanks for the input……..seems the NUt House is growing by leaps and bounds
Great stuff, Smillar. Welcome to Canes Country.
Could you say a little more about why you would take Jenner over Jensen? The Jensen highlights are pretty spectacular. It’s easy to envision him as a 1st-line right wing some day.

Jenner
Jensen is a great player a bit stronger offensivley then Jenner, But Jenner is really strong in the faceoff circle, he’s loved by the coaching staff and his teamates and will most likely end up wearing a letter at some point in his career, he might not be quite as strong Offensively but he’s a pretty rare player.
Heres an article on the NHL’S Draft site about him: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=566594
Welcome
Looking forward to your evaluation of Jenner.
As far as being from Canada…I’m from Detroit, my buddies that come to the games with us are from Windsor and Long Island. You’ll find the Canes fan base includes a high percentage of northern transplants (Pittsburgh, Buffalo, New York, New Jersey, Boston, etc.).
Again, welcome.
yeah tell us about the pipeline
from time to time. nice to hear about prospects
You know how I said my profile pic would always be an animal? well, Chara's a BEAST!

Really sorry Jenner and Jensen were gone when the Canes drafted 42nd
I’m especially sorry about missing out on Jensen. It sounds as though if things work out Victor Rask could be like another 1st rounder for the Canes. If. Hope we get to see him in training camp.
Jensen sounds perfect for the Canucks so he’s probably happy to land where he did, and on a team with another Danish player.
