The Carolina Hurricanes brought back two more depth players as they agreed to terms with forward Brett Sutter and defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti. Both players were restricted free agents.
Sutter's deal is for one year and will pay him $525,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL, with a $105,000 guaranteed minimum.
Sanguinetti also re-upped for a single year and will be paid $600,000 at the NHL level and $62,500 at the AHL.
Sutter played very well in the AHL playoffs last season and contributed 14 points, (4G 10A) in 16 playoff games for the Charlotte Checkers.
Sanguinetti struggled with an injury a good part of last season but was beginning to find his stride. He had 15 points in 31 regular season games.
