A Thank You
Carolyn recently informed me that she will soon be starting a new job and will not have the time to keep contributing to Canes Country on such a regular basis. There really is not enough time in the day to properly thank the people who put so much time and effort into making this Blog a success, but Carolyn's hard work has been greatly appreciated for the past three years and she will be missed.
Let me also take this time to thank Cory, Brian, Jamie, and Lee for their contributions as well.
Please join me in wishing Carolyn the best of luck in the future and we hope she won't be a stranger!

Is she our new power forward to play along Staal?
Here’s hoping the new gig is a point-per-game type of situation
I've discovered who that woman was having the heart attack when Staal scored: The Love Boat's Lauren Tewes!
Clicks and clippings was the best!
Thanks for everything hockeymom. Good luck!
Oh No!
My first reaction when I read the news…like when Joni had to get his knee ‘scoped’…I have enjoyed your insight, perspective, and humor. It has to be in your blood. Hope we continue to see your presence. Best to you and your family.
Congrats!!
Congratulations on your new job. I have always enjoyed your contributions. The C&C was always a great read! This is a great site, with all the contributors doing a wonderful job. Hope you’ll have time to keep posting with us !! Thank You !!!!!!
Carolyn, I came to Canes Country seeking news and discussion, but I found so much more than that in a very cherished friendship. While I’m thankful that remains, your daily contributions here will be missed, as you’ve set the gold standard for information and analysis with the perfect mix of content, insight and great wit.
All my best as this next chapter begins.

We Sometimes Underappreciate Those That Are Near
But only find that out after they move afar. I suspect we will miss that unique, dedicated and professional personality who always took the high road.
Good luck and best wishes……..but you are only an internet and keyboard connection away and hope to hear from Hockey Mom often!
When able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.

haven't really even been here that long
but thanks a bunch, and best of luck and the new job!
If I cared more about my UNC side, I'd call myself "Tar Volon," and that'd be awesome.

Thank you
for all the hours you spent so we could learn something about the hockey world. You will be missed.
A little late to the congratulations party here, but definitely want to wish you all the best in your new job! You were the first person who welcomed me to the Canes Country family and definitely showed me that the friendships made on here don’t have to remain strictly virtual. :)
All of your fantastic work on here will be missed for sure!

I believe in strength. I believe in unity. And if that strength, that unity of purpose, demands a uniformity of thought, word and deed then so be it.
