last week the cancelation of the All Star game & regularly scheduled games until December 14th,2012.Like my utter disdain for SBNation as a corperation..this fan now has even greater disdain for the NHL & now the leadership of the NHLPA..grant you and in fairness,many players feel bad about NOT being able to play a sport they love. But they know and understand as they voted to have "legal representation" that there are times when contract talks don't always work out as one wanted,wished,or liked. Sure we fans have other "outlets" and teams we can and have been going to see.Now i could go on for and yet another 100 words, but the bottom line is wether the players ment to or not when they voted for the current president of the NHLPA not everyone totally/completely understood who & what they were getting. Others and more experienced players knew exactly what & who they got.Yet the players man seems if anything able to standup againts the pressure Gary Bettmen & the BOG is putting and pushing. yet Both sides and especially Gary Bettmen are taking we,the fan base forgranted..and we the fans are nothing more pawns being held hostage to billionaires & millionaires. So where do we, the fans draw the line ? When do we stand up and say enough and IF and when there is a contract,will we be so happy & overjoyed that like crack addicts forget and go back in droves? Lord i hope not
